Cocoon is pleased to announce that Ken Lambert has joined the company as Director of Structures & CFE (Corrosion-Free Environments).

He’ll be an integral part of the Operations team, helping to manage the design and execution of steel-framed fabric structures, and the installation and operation of Corrosion-Free Environments (CFE).

Ken has significant construction and project management experience including, most recently, Director of Technical Services & Industry Development for the International Masonry Institute. He is also currently serving a 2-year term as President of the Northeastern Region of the Construction Specifications Institute. In addition, he’s written articles for ARCHITECT and Construction Specifier magazines, construction dive.com, and more.

“We’re very pleased that Ken has joined the company” said COO Ray Gaffey. “His technical knowledge combined with experience in customer-facing roles makes him a great addition to our team. He’s knowledgeable and detail-oriented, but also team-oriented and a good communicator.”

Ken will work closely with our internal engineers and external partners on a variety of projects from aircraft hangars to warehouses, sunshades, and more. “We’re slated to begin some major buildings in the coming months, so Ken is coming on board at just the right time - and adding some valuable bench strength to our team,” added Gaffey.
