New Cocoon staffers add their skill and experience to the sales team
Cocoon is pleased to announce that Steve Houten and Scott Gould have joined the company’s sales team.
Steve Houten spent 32 years in the military, serving on active duty, in the Army Reserves, and with the New Hampshire National Guard. He was a part-time police officer for 13 years while on active duty, and a full time police officer for 10 years while in the Reserves.
Most recently he spent 5 years as Government Sales Manager for Otis Defense, and prior to that was a Regional Account Manager for ADS Inc.
He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Cocoon. As a former service member he not only understands the workings of the military but has been in the shoes of our customers and has an extensive track record of serving the needs of the warfighter.
Scott Gould also brings the company valuable experience, having most recently been an OEM Sales Engineer in Inertial Navigation Systems for KVH Industries. In that role he provided customers with sales and technical support for Fiber Optic Gyros, Inertial Navigation Systems, and more. Prior to that he was a Structural Engineer/Design Engineer at Olsen Engineers.
That combination of engineering knowledge and sales experience give him a unique and valuable perspective on how Cocoon’s engineered solutions align with customer needs.
