Cocoon’s North Carolina operations move to new facility

Cocoon South, based just outside Asheville, North Carolina has moved to a larger facility to better support its textile development efforts. “Our previous space served us well for many years, but we didn’t have the right footprint for our current needs” said Kathy McNamara, Textiles lead at Cocoon. “As we move more into development work, we needed a bigger and more adaptable facility.”

The new location allows Cocoon’s Textiles team configure and reconfigure the space as work flow changes from project to project. It also fosters, and better facilitates, collaboration with co-workers, customers, and key supply chain and manufacturing partners.

Cocoon’s textiles are highly advanced and patented “systems” of integrated technical materials that represent breakthrough advances in performance and protection from corrosion.
