Let’s be honest, for a long time protective covers left a lot to be desired. They didn’t work particularly well, some were too heavy , some were not very durable, most would get brittle in cold weather, and even freeze to equipment.

Advances in technical textiles have changed all that, but in some ways it’s even harder to modernize mindsets than to modernize covers.

Fortunately that’s changing as more and more people are using a modernized cover that eliminates the problems listed above. Protective covers have now progressed to the point where they are critical equipment for your critical assets.

Thanks to AMCOM, an R&D initiative begun in 2007 led to a major breakthrough in cover technology that eliminated virtually all the deficiencies of previous protective covers. It took roughly 5 years and countless iterations to get everything right, but the resulting cover is basically technology in the form of a textile.
