Hangars Fixed-Base
Fixed-Base: Features
Features
Fixed Base maintenance hangars allow aircraft, ground equipment, parts, armament and munitions to be maintained according to specific site requirements. Based on standardized engineering, they are fully customizable and meet local building codes and fire safety regulations.

Maintenance-free for 20+ years before membrane replacement, their use is otherwise indefinite. Most importantly, they can be operational within a short time period and at a fraction of the cost of traditional building methods. The membrane clad structures have great flexibility in design and allow for clear span widths of up to approximately 300 feet with a variety of wall heights and bay widths.

They also have a number of advantages over traditional construction, including superior corrosion protection as a result of a post-production hot dip galvanizing of welded components that meet the ASTM A123 standard. Independent of the frame system, the high quality PVC coated cladding provides exceptional tensile strength and durability with lower lifetime costs, excellent fire safety characteristics and other significant benefits.

Building components are manufactured in a controlled environment to enhance quality and efficiency, resulting in lower costs and improved delivery schedules. Foundation requirements – able to withstand moderate settlement – are typically lower than traditional construction. All products are delivered complete for installation, with available crew or site technician.

In addition, a broad array of accessory structures and systems is available, including passageways, control and other room structures, lighting and climate control systems and a variety of door configurations.
