Expeditionary Forces Aircraft Shelter System (EFASS) hangars are purpose-built for the theater and can accommodate up to a Chinook helicopter with blades. Depending upon the model and options selected, each EFASS ships in 20’ containers and can be installed rapidly by a team without dependence on crane support. It is also insulated and has been successfully proven in harsh environmental conditions including fine airborne sand, wind, wide temperature modifications and driving rain.

All structures are manufactured of the highest quality materials to meet or exceed typical construction requirements. EFASS Deployable Hangars are purpose-built for theater operations and shipped in one, two or three ISO containers, depending upon size. They can be installed rapidly by a team without crane support, are able to withstand sustained winds of 90MPH with gusts to 110MPH and a snow load of 20PSF.

A 20’ x 25’ pre-packaged Production Control Office is also available for linking to the EFASS, with “plug and play” lighting and outlets, insulation, ground sheeting and flooring. It is blackout certified and can be erected in 4 hours by 4 personnel.
