Hangars
Tech Specs

While specifications vary depending on project parameters such as facility and equipment, lay-up duration, and the environment, services provided by Cocoon typically begin with consultation and conceptual design, and then continue through installation, performance validation, monitoring and maintenance. A project generally includes six primary stages:

i. Site survey
ii. Proposal and approval
iii. Detailed design
iv. Installation
v. Start-up and validation
vi. Monitoring and maintenance

Cocoon offers the only line of industrial dehumidifiers specifically engineered and manufactured for corrosion protection, marine/facility mothballing and inventory preservation. The high capacity, desiccant rotor design delivers the necessary amount of dehumidified air at the lowest possible energy cost.

Eight dehumidifier models allow you to select capacities ranging from 75scfm to 12,000scfm. Our dehumidification systems have been proven in the field for a wide and challenging array of applications over the course of more than thirty years. In fact, many of these have provided in excess of fifteen years of continuous service.

While actual specifications vary depending upon each project application, common attributes include the following (please contact us for full range of unit specifications):

Rotor Technology

Continuous non-cycling performance. Maximum transfer of water in vapor phase. Inert structure, non-corrosive, solid desiccant, non-metallic.

Wide Temperature Operation

Our dry air dehumidification units function effectively in virtually any temperature range, from as low as –55°F to as high as +120°F. The low temperature threshold helps ensure that systems will not ice-up like refrigeration-based dehumidifiers.

Electrical Controls

Continuous automatic operation, including motor starters, overload protective devices, microprocessors with indicating lights and fault circuits. All wiring to NEC codes.

Drive System

Simple, self-tensioning belt drive arrangement with few moving parts.

Filters

Permanent; removable and washable.

ISO 9001 Certified

Manufacturer compliant with standards associated with this accreditation.
