Fixed and Deployable Hangars
Cocoon provides “Fixed” and purpose-built “Deployable” maintenance, parts and storage hangars that are highly customizable, modular and easy to maintain. They can include enhancements such as temperature and humidity control as well as ballistics protection and are able to be fully operational in as few as 6 days for Deployable and 3 to 12 months for Fixed hangars. Our alliance with Rubb Building Systems enables us to engineer, manufacture and install the most technically advanced membrane structures constructed of the highest quality materials with service and support for any location across the globe.
Expeditionary Forces Aircraft Shelter System (EFASS) hangars are purpose-built for the theater, ship in standard 20’ containers and can be installed rapidly by a team without dependence on crane support.
Fixed Base maintenance hangars allow aircraft, ground equipment, parts, armament and munitions to be stored and maintained according to specific site requirements at a fraction of the cost of traditional building methods, yet with available HVAC, crane, lighting and attached building support.
Dehumidified Aircraft Shelter System (DASS) hangars allow aircraft and ground support to be parked on the flight line in a humidity-controlled environment that’s safe from the elements and satellite surveillance, thereby improving readiness and reducing maintenance time and cost.
Program-Specific Membrane Buildings are constructed of the same high-quality materials and engineered for the unique needs of special applications such as dry dock shelters, ship deck transport and other uses.
