Cocoon has worked extensively with an elite aviation regiment of the Army to design and develop protective covers for Little Bird, Black Hawk and Chinook helicopters as well as specific weapons mounted on these helicopters, including M240, M134, GUA-19, 30mm guns, rocket pod covers and missile covers.

Deployed and tested extensively in the Iraq theater, the regiment reports exceptional results not only with aircraft and weapons systems, but also with full aircraft shipping covers as well as sun shades developed to protect enlisted personnel from the harsh climatic conditions. Field testers also noted that cleaning time for weapons has been significantly reduced with the use of the covers and have approved them for use throughout the battalion.

As a result, mission readiness, operational efficiency, and the safety of personnel have increased, equipment life has been extended, and maintenance costs have been reduced.
